having problems with my panasonic hu

hey guys recently i got a newer car (2000 camry) the radio in it was messed up so my father gave me his old panasonic hu. its a great hu. has a remote and 3 sets of preamp outputs.

anyway recently i got to where it wouldnt play cd-rs past track 10. it will play retail cds fine.

i ran a lens cleaner through it and it fixed it for about 3 weeks and now its acting up again.

any suggestions??

btw the cd-r media im using is memorex not the best but not the cheapest.

you guys think it would be possible to manually clean the unit by taking it apart??

or should i just start saving for a new hu??

if anyone is in the dallas tx area and has a used hu with 3 preouts let me know

its probably about 5-6 years old but was only used about two years the rest of the time it was sitting in my dads truck not being used.

im gonna buy another lens cleaner tomorrow hopefully that will fix it.

i would say dust build up

its weird yesterday it would play past track 10 but it was taking it a little longer than normal to recognize the track.
