Having problems getting my mp3 player to play- Kenwood head unit.

I am using the USB feature for my kenwood head unit (very basic, cd unit 100 dollar unit)

My sansa clip mp3 player will read connected, my headunit reads No Device!

My memory stick will read and play just fine!.

Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

you need more power if it has an internal hdd.
