Having problems and need help with definations.

What is crossover and what does it do? How should a set it and what is a good seting? Alos my mid bass speakers sound like they are hitting harder than my sub how can i fix that? What is "Low-input" and "High-input" for speaker levels?? Whats the differance?

That helps alot with the crossover questions but not fully i also was wondering if there is a certain level to put that to for the best sound or does the speakers type differ with the level that it should be set to?

150hz and lower for a sub, 100hz-20,000hz for a coax, 100hz-2000hz for a 4"-6.5" mid, 2000-20,000 for tweets. idk just what i go by
