Having MAjor Problems with my System. PLEASE HELP!

Okay heres the deal...

I'm not getting any sound to my subwoofers when i play my deck through my amp in my 04 tacoma. however i know everything works fine because i ran 2 different tests. I played an ipod through my system from the end of the rcas that plug into my deck (basically testing my amp and subs and rcas by replacing my deck with another source) and i got bass... THEN, i played my deck through the system in my old truck. I ALSO got bass... HOWEVER, when i play my deck through the rest of my system, i get no sound to my subs... someone i work with suggests i disconnect my illumination wire on the harness behind the deck. i need any advice i can get because this has been an issue for months now and i cant figure it out

you probably just mistakenly connected your turn on lead to the power antenna. does it work with the radio but nothing else

no i got the right wire for my remote. i know the remote is the blue/white and the power anntana is all blue. plus on my harness it has a sticker that says power antenna on it lol. i tried cutting the illumination wire, didnt help. but yeah im getting power to my amp just fine. all my equippment appears to be working, but not when its with eachother haha. fml

only thing i can think of is a bad set of rca's.pull the deck out but leave it wired and run a new set of rca's straight to the amp if it works install the new rca's properly.

do you have the subs turned off through your deck.. lol.. just a thought. I always go with easiest first and work down from there. Some of my decks I can turn subs on and off and some I can turn them down low enough to where they are off.. just a thoght

when i ran an ipod to my system i used the rcas that are in my system. so my rcas are good. and my cd player was turned on and everything. i know my remote turn on is good cuz i was using my deck to power the amp when i tested my system with the ipod. i know the deck is putting something out because when i hooked it up to the system in my old truck, it played through my old system. i got some freaky **** goin on. one of the guys i work with at toyota told me to try clipping the illumination wire. didnt work. im out of ideas. im taking the deck to va beach tomorrow and some guys gonna look at it with me and were gonna do some thinking and work on it.
