Having issues...

My system has begun to distort at the higher volumes..Granted it was happening before periodicly, but now the distortion and clipping has become an unavoidable probablem. Running a moderate (check system components below). I can't tell if the rest of the system can't keep up with the w3s or what. I've tried adjusted the gains from full, to zero. I'm sure I'll just have to get some higher quality comps for all 4 doors. But this clipping is getting really really bad. Or I need to get a seperate amp for the doors. I dunno. Whats the jury say?

I seriously hope you don't think your HU is putting out 50w

Which model kenwood do you have? If its one of the better ones set your highpass to the front above 80hz and it should help greatly.

I always recommend getting amps on your comps simply because full clean power that has an active EQ will always kick the 22wrms from a headunit.
