Ok maybe I could get your guys' input.

I have a 2006 Ford Focus St I just bought and well I have all this stereo equipment from when I had my cavalier. So I was just gonna swap it into the Focus. Well I have just recently installed the 2 12" alpine type R's and my 1200watt Lanzar amp. I have all the stock speakers in it still and put my aftermarket 7600 Pioneer deck in there. I have to say I am very impressed with how it sounds. I mean the stock highs are off the deck, so getting maybe 20rms to them if that. These things scream as loud as my Alpine spx componet set off a clarion amp. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif The bass dont hit no where near what it was in my cavalier, but is a lot cleaner. I am wondering if the is because I am using the internal x-over in the amp instead of the cheap 3-way Lanzar crossover from before. I mean I can deal with this for now. I just know me though. I will want it to loud again.

Thing is I want to do some stuff to my car. I did the tint, but want to lower my car and get some 17's or 18's for it for the summer and do some mild eng. mods. Nothing special. So what would you guys do. Put in about 1500 worth of sounds that I have or try and sell the majority of it and be happy with the little bump I have now and do some minor mods listed??

Well i dont know what you have left that you could either install or sell...so it makes it hard to say. I know personally i would rather have a nice *** system than rims...to me rims are just eye candy that i personally do not enjoy..i mean i cant see the fckers when im driving...

I would put the focus on things that bring enjoyment to me...like the stereo...engine mods if you like to drive fast.

Or maybe you are the type who gets off on what other people think of your ride...in that case get some rims..but like i said persoanlly i like to improve things that are for my enjoyment...not the people in other cars or on the sidewalk...

True, just feel I need to show some love to this car. I mean I have done the massive sound systems for years and basically starting to get out of the competition part of it and starting to enjoy the more sq side of things. So if I do decide to go the stereo side, then I would eventually like to do a sq system. I hear you about the rims. Just feel these things need some love. The factorys are ok, but just really plain Jane. So I dont know, I guess I need more peeps opinions. IMO, **** rims, who cares...its a focus(no offense).

I'd rather listen to my music REALLY loud, and get peoples attention that way.

Hey it may not be a grand national, but this thing goes mang! It is a fast grocery getter, lol!

I raced my dad in my other car, which is a 2002 Mitz Eclispe GTS and from stop light to stop light I took him. I asked him if he was messing with me and not trying. He said he mashed on it. So I was happy and pissed at the same time. Odd feeling it was.

Also, thinking of just putting the tunes in it. Just need to go get some deadner like a mother. Oh well projects never end lol!
