i just put a new set of re 6.5's in my doors, same ones i had.. the others blew due to stupidity. anywa.. i got it sll hooked up and ready. then eevrytime i play it for more than 5-10 seconds the amp shutsoff. i cant figure out why!!

wrong wiring? you could be throwin the amp into protect. you think they are possibly grounding out too? i know you are a respectable member and all, but im just throwin stuff out there. lol

Sounds like either a voltage drop or you are running the amp too low. Could also be a short somewhere.

well it happens while i was tuning the amp. neverfinished cuz it kept shuttin off.

and asf for the othergy... ground is great. wiring.. god. dont eben want to gtear down my car so if theres faulty wire

it workedf fine until i tuned all amps settings off and staarting tuning it again. then poof. it shuts off

try it the easy way brake out the good old dmm hook up the speaker wire to one side and the other side up to the ground going to know if your wire is grounding out if you have a loop. Second check the ohm load going to the amp all checks out go to power what kind of voltage you getting rattle the power and rattle the ground any voltage drops when doing so. Third swap out the fuse make sure its not just a blistered fuse restriction. that doesn't work go in the house find any speaker you can hook it up and see if it does it with another speaker and wire. If so has to be something further up. No need to take the doors apart till you know the problem is in there if there is one you will know from this problem salving. Let us know what you find.
