Having A Dual Battery System??

I have a 1400 watt amp and a farad Capacitor but it keeps on draining my battery so i was looking into buying a Battery Isolator, but i wanted to know how you hook the battery isolator up. I heard that you have to run a power wire from your alternator to your Isolator and then so on and so forth, if anyone can send me a link to where i can see pictures of how to do this that would be great, or if you have any suggestions you can reply to it or E-mail me at xxscter13xx@aol.com

ok, here is the order you follow when upgrading an electrical system

1. Big Three

2. Deep Cycle Battery (like the Optima, etc)

3. HO Alternator

4. Another Battery

...
