Having a battery issue, wondering if capacitor will help

My battery seems to be getting drained and my lights dim everytime the bass hits. I only have around 400 RMS right now between my 2 12 subwoofers, but i want to upgrade to 2 12 CVR which is 800 RMS max. I am looking into capacitors to help stop the drain. I am wondering if a capacitor will stop the drain and i am also wondering how do you setup a capacitor. What do i need to wire it, etc?

come on bro this is the 3rd time i've seen you ask this question.

to hook up a cap, you hook the + side to the + dis. block and hook the - to the ground dis. block.

and you can get a brand new 2 farad MA audio with guage on it for $40

bucks on e-bay thats shipped.

power is 4 gauge power wire, i have stock battery/alternator and its dimming my lights at only 400 rms. i have a 2004 chrysler sebring. so i need a distribution block for a cap? alright that makes some sense. is my stock alternator good enough for 600-800 rms with the kicker cvrs? thanks for the help. sorry jaco for asking so much but no one was responding and thanks for the answer.

i think i have a 95 amp alternator from what a site says, not too sure on that but thats the best guess i have found so far.

um i also have only 8 gauge ground wire with 4 gauge power, do u think the 8 gauge ground wire could be making them dim?

yea im reading a lot about the big 3 right now, how much does the big 3 go for? my alt is giving 95 amps i think, isnt that enough for ~400 rms?

you have to go bul ring terminals and wire for the big 3, and do it your self.

it helped my car alot.

i think your alt. should be fine.

i'm running 2 batts off mine with 2- 2 farad caps. and it's a stock honda alt.

so do u think i should try a 2 farad cap first to stop the dimming? its not that bad of dimming but noticeable when it hits hard. will my alt be enough for 600-700 RMS with 2 kicker 12 CVRs?

i have about 2400 watts and 4-10" cvr's 2 batts and my stock alt is fine.

the big 3 is what i would do first if i was you.
