Noise filter on amp?

Would a noise filter on my component amp (US Amps MD22) negatively affect sound quality? The RCAs on it look kinda crappy, like the cheap red and white ones that you get with TVs, DVD players, etc.

nah...if ANYTHING you migh loose a fraction of a decible....but with a door speaker amp you can compensate with ur gain, shoudl be just fine, i ran one on my sub amp before and it cured some really nasty background noise issues i had that i couldnt solve...
