i decided to take a break from here for the spring semester and i think it paid off... instead of one B, two C's and an F in my classes in the fall, my grades have gone up to four As and one B for the spring.
anyways, i got a new car... a 2002 audi a4. i don't want to get too carried away, for a couple reasons. its probably the only car i will drive until after i graduate from college (still a freshman right now). its also the nicest car i will drive for a while, and i don't want to mess anything up.
i want to take my eclipse 8445 out of my old car and put it in the audi, as well as replace the speakers, because at least one is blown already. everything must appear as stock as possible... aka NO door pods.
i also want to spend as little as possible, because i still have to pay for my portion of this car, as well as save for the school year. i'm thinking around $500.
should i go 3-channel and run fronts and a sub or 5-channel and run both sets and a sub? i'm thinking for the budget i will go with a 3 channel kicker amp.
ideas on speakers? the fronts are 4" with a tweeter location.
ideas on sub? nothing larger than one 10"
remember... budget is $500
