Easily a couple hundred USD just in materials. Plexiglass gets really expensize really fast.

I was flipping through the channels a couple years ago and happened to go past the DIY channel. The host was making a 2-sub 10" sealed box using 3/4" plexiglass. HE did a step by step installtion. It was pretty cool to watch. Total cost of materials was about $200.00. It's still on the web site...
