Have you ever cracked a rib??

What does it feel like? I think I may have fractured a rib earlier today while boxing but have no way to tell. Hospital isn't an option... no health insurance. Has anybody ever experienced this?

It happened earlier today. I get a sharp pain when stretching it, deep inhalation, or sneezing.

eh then id say bruised not cracked....manny is right if its cracked you would be severly hating life to the point youd probably go to the hospital anyway

Fractured rib hurts a ton when breathing...I got one in my car accident last year.

You may have fractured the cartilage...the pain is not as severe.

o ya they hurt bad..especially if ur one who usually sleeps on ur stomach...i would sleep on my back and then roll over in my sleep with the most intense pain waking me up. god just the memory hurts

I twisted a rib out of my back socket one time...the worst pain of my life! I was wrestling and got landed on by a guy off a picnic table...heard a snap and thought it broke. I could not breathe, move, sit up, lay down, or do anything! I had to go to physical therapy and take pain meds for a while.

just go to the ER with no ID.. use a fake name and soc sec #.

It works for illegals.
