Have this ever happen to anyone

I have a kx2500 d amp for 2 SI Mags in a ported box tuned to34hz and I have a ppi dcx1000.4 4-channel amp125 x4@ 4 ohms running active to a set of Seas neos tweets and apair of ID oem 6.5 mids...here whats going on,when i turn up the music to about 23 and up(alpine hu 9815 and I used a tutorial to set my gains using a test cd and dvm to set gains) the ppi amp cuts out, is this due to lack of power or is there something going on with the amp itself i have touched it and it is not hot....btw I have done the big-3 and my ALT is 140 amps car is a 1996 Bonneville se.

have checked the RCAs and looked at the ground will do again though never hurts to triple check.

ground. try getting a longer ground wire and using it on a factroy designated ground area
