id pick up a dcon before that just saying the dcon is a hell of alot better sub. not that the clarion isnt good i would just buy something different.

I bought this clarion on 7-25 so I can still return it for full money back

Convince me to get a sub without a warranty and I will.......I just don't see a good reason why....

Best buy said they will replace the sub if it blows, infinite amount of times within the protection plan.

best buy says they will replace subs that blow, because they most likely will blow.

honestly, just stay away from best buy crap...

the sub companies listed dont need warranties, cuz if you know what your doing, 99% of the time, the subs will outlast your want for that particular system (your more likely to sell the subs for something new before they will ever blow) ... the only time you really see any of the subs smoke a voice coil is either 1.) a noob hooks everything up wrong 2.) someone is using them on a meter... and REALLY pushing them (not going to be your typical daily set up).

Bro I'm just showing you there is car audio beyond best buy.. These companies do not have marketing departments, that keeps cost down so you get MUCH better equipment for your money! The owners and builders are on these forums, they will answer any questions you have..

I think your plan is worthless for the fact of most of us wont have the same sub for 4 years, and that sub probelly wont be around that long. And the most important factor, it *****! If you blow your sub you messed something up. If they are going to break its going to happen within the 1st 30 days, after that you did something stupid. If you stick around here long enough you will learn how to set up a system and you wont ever blow a sub
