Hi

I have a 12w7. I also have the HO box for it.

I have $1200 for wiring, amp(s), headunit, speakers, and capaciters if needed.

I would like to have clear sounding music, but very good base too. I listen to rap/hip-hop. I have 1998 Grand Prix GTP. Any suggestions on what else I should purchase will be appreciated, thanks.

Go for an all out Pyle/Pyramid setup.

Run 18 GA wire from the battery unfused to a Pyle Amp to 15 Pyramid 4 Farad Capacitors wired in parellel and solder the output speaker leads onto the RCA input of a Pyramid 10,000 watt amp and run a line of interconnected tinfoil hats to a single megaphone on the hood of your car.

It will BUMP and be C R Y S T A L clear, trust me.

lol I'm pretty sure its impossible not to realize my suggestion was a joke.

I consider post dumping mean spirited hassling/insults, whereas I'm just being dumb for kicks. If you look at my other posts I'm not exactly trying to pretend I'm 'leet' and make people feel like 'newbs'. It's too bad that internet arrogance is so prevailent that its assumed as the most likely motive.

PS- How is it possible that nobody else finds the idea of interconnected tinfoil hats carrying current to a hood mounted megaphone hilarious? I can't help but chuckle.

having a 1000/1 isn't going to change how your speakers sound, just the sub. you can find them for less than a 1000, thats just the "retail" price. there are other amps you can get too. those subs can take a lot of power though, just depends on your budget. there are a ton of options for speakers too. i say take a second, and really decide what you want out of your system, cuz there are many different choices to make. good start with the W7 though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

looks like good stuff... the speakers look nice, but dont buy from indoaudio. too many bad experiences from people on here.

dont forget, the rest of your money will prob be spent on wiring. and you might wanna look into a new battery too.
