Hatchback vs Trunk hmmmmm

trunk - ok i had a 98 honda accord......it was loud SPL wise....sq sucks....

hatch - i now have a 02 acura rsx type s....i put the same set up in it...and the accord was way louder on the inside and out...

im guessn that the rsx is sealed better...not sure...y u think the accord was louder...i thought hatchbacks were louder...need help

Because the install in the hatch was nto as well as the install in the hatch? Or, as you said the RSX isnt sealed as well. Or it is louder at a certain freq that matters, and y ou just did not hear it.

There's gotta be something wrong with your setup then because every hatch i've been in, it's definitely louder then a car with a trunk.

the only way i think isnt as loud in my hatch is when i fire the sub and port forward

oook....i noticed sumthin....my amp is a a1500hct audiobahn amp...i know dont flame me...it has a power output meter on it...in my old car it would max out evry time the bass hit @ +3db....now its hittin a little under that...like it needs more power...the only reason i can think of this is that i used a diff wiring kit offf ebay...while n my old car i had Rockford wiring...would that make a diff...

audiobahn eternals.....in a big *** ported box...i have the port facing the the back. i already tried facing them up and into the cabin...no difference....amp settings....uhhh gains are bout 3/4 the way....its runnin @ 1ohm...any suggestions what the filters should be...there is a lot of knobs that have shit to do wit hertz...i dnt understand those...
