Hatch flex, any ideas?

adding weight and deadener will help. my hatch door did the same with low freq. added 2 layers of deadener and hatch doest make much noise and added weight so it doest flex as much. it really helps. add the most weight you can to that hatch door. plus think of the wasted energy and pressure that it takes to move that door. it could be used to make more pressure ie louder.

you could also try to adjust the latch so its a tighter fit.

The only way I can adjust my latch is if I drilled new holes. So instead, I rigged up a way to hold it down with ratchet tie downs.

Sounds 10x better.
