Harness/amp integration interface for 2012 Ford Explorer

Hey guys. I'm fairly experienced with car audio installations and have done them in each car I've owned. My 2012 Explorer is by far the most difficult one I've ever dealt with. I am using the stock receiver in this truck because I don't want to spend a ton on a dash conversion kit to go custom. I also am trying to hide the fact that the truck has a system in case warranty work needs to happen.

I've already made one set of splices that ended up not being in a good location to route the wiring through, so now I'm trying to avoid cutting into more factory wiring if possible. PAC makes a amplifier integration interface (AOEM-FRD24) which is basically a line output converter with connectors and pinout for a specific set of Ford vehicles. The problem is it doesn't work with the 2012 Explorer as the connector and pin out is different on these newer Fords. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of another plug and play type of solution for getting RCAs/preouts and using the stock radio.

Another thing I was considering is making my own harness that I could splice into. Buy a Metra aftermarket radio harness for example and then go to a junkyard and cut off a Ford connector, wire it up as basically an extender and just splice into that. I'd prefer something like the AOEM-FRD24 though since it literally is just plugging cables in.
