Hardwire an amp???

You need a dedicated 12VDC power supply, rated to provide the current you need.

Basically, it's not worth it unless you're just testing amps to make sure they work out of the vehicle.

cut the end of an extension cord and put one wire to the power terminal and the other to the ground. then plug the other end of the extension cord in to the wall. Thier you go. Good luck

When someone can get killed by your "jokes", it's somehow not as funny...hmm, imagine that...
how could he get killed? theres not much current off of 110 VAC at all. i find the hot wires with my fingers.look online for 12vdc powersupply's they make em for what you plan to do but plan on speding $4 per Ampere for a good one.

Next question. I have two 15s and don't want to go through the hastle of selling them so I'm going to hook them up in my apartment. Can I hook them up to a reciever and use a crossover to filter out all of the treble or do I have to do something different?

You can die with as little as 1A, if you happen to have both hands in the circuit at the time...

Go to Partsexpress.com, buy a plate amp and do it right.

dude u can EASILY die from AC wall outlet power if ur not careful and u touch it at the wrong spot. friends dad of mine died that way. it is kinda funny making jokes liek that to noobs....but at least hint some sarcasim, with out it obvious that ur ****ing around with him a noob will actually take that advice and possible burn his house down or **** himself up.

there's more than enough current in 110v AC to kill you if u manage to get urself in series with it.
