P2 is an entry lvl sub 1 up from their very bottom end dude...

SA 12s, LVL3s (if you get direct price), SDC 2.5s, Hype Rs, SS t5s
any one of these in an adequate box and say 600-800rms will likely be as loud or louder then the p2s

Xtant X series (yes I'm serious... these POUND)(you can get a PAIR of 10" on egay for under $200 shipped BRAND NEW.. this would literally eat a pair of P2s.. literally..)

These are all under $200ea and will walk ALL OVER fosgate P2's

hell 2 z12d4 on 1kw will eat 2 12"P2.. and sound waaaaay better.. 140$ a pair shipped...and they will easily take 1500 to the pair..
