Hard wire Mio C220 GPS

I have a Mio C220 GPS that I would like to hard wire. The end that plugs into the Mio is a mini USB cable, so I believe I will need to convert down to 5 volt - 500mA.

Any suggestions on how to set this up?

Buy a cig lighter adapter... hardwire it into a switched accesory and plug the adapter for your mio into it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Usually I hide them behind the radio.
