Hard hitting clean 10" sub

I'm looking for suggestions for a good 10" sub that will add clean bass to my stereo. I don't like that booming noise but still like to play my music loud sometimes. Any suggestions?

Research....Assassins have had a huge following recently....they are under rated and underpriced.. JL Audio 10w6 in a sealed box. Hard to get cleaner than that.

You could spend more but they are a little pricey. And be ready to maybe be cannon fodder for the Internet woofer fanboys.
