Hard drive with interface vs 12 disc CD changer

I have a pioneer 7800 and am looking for the best way to hold alot of music without changing CDs. Does pioneer make a CD changer that supports mp3 or WMA format? I have looked and got no results.I like the idea of a hard drive but i have read that there are problems like long load times when changing songs and some hard drives not being supported. What do you or would you use?

just get a 60-80gig Ipod and adapter. That's probably the most practical method, and you can take it with you so you don't have to worry about theft
