craftsman for hand tools except ratchets, which are snap on. my electric sanding tools are dewalt and my drills are B&D. air tools are usually craftsman. screwdrivers and sockets are whatever most of the time, i have a set of craftsman, but i also buy a bunch of cheap ones for doing installs with because of my memory problem...

Id say snap-on, matco, and craftsman. For paint guns sata or devilbiss. I also think a lot of it depends on peoples opinion, how much they want to spend and weather they do it for a living vs simple basic work on the weekends.
