I purchase most of my school books from either Half.com, Amazon, or other websites.
Purchased a book for my Western Civ II class, never received it. Contacted the seller several times to no avail. Filed a claim with Half.com.
A month later, Half.com sends me an email, asking if I've received the book yet (the email made it seem like they contacted the seller, and he said he shipped it). I said no, haven't received anything, and there's no shipping info for the transaction (you have to provide shipping details when you sell on half.com).
So, I get an email today from the seller today:
I told him I don't want it, as the semester is nearly over, and I want a refund.
