Had enclosure built for an FI Q 15

I could sit here and type all day, but I am going to keep this short.

Q > Ava - both on my MD2D, same truck. Ava was in a Team Toxic Bass designed enclosure tuned low. This enclosure for the Q is tuned at 33hz.

It (Q) is getting louder at every note, with less power and it is not hollow in any aspect like the Ava. I guess I do prefer a little distortion vs a flat response. Oh yeah, and this sub doesn't fall flat on its face after 45hz.

Box was built at Custom Sound Works here in Lubbock. I was referred to them by a few members off this board, and I am glad I was. Mike Jones from Custom Sound Works really wanted me to go with this box design, I was skeptical at first, but I am **** glad I took his word. The build quality is awesome, and the box and sub have blown me away. Louder and crisp. Love it.

I can't wait to try out a Havoc...

Around (under) 5 after displacement. The port design is strange, I have 60sq inches. Looks bigger than it really is, because it legs to made it stand up with over the ****** hump, and my passenger seat is leaned way back, but it is on the hefty side of things

Whats the story with that carpet? Where's it from? I bet it'd match my trunk better than my SEM coated grey carpet.

the box looks huge, but i guess with the legs how your said it makes since. The carpet matches very well in that interior though.

It looks like there is a second port on the far side to me, although i didn't notice it the first time i looked @ it.

Ive been trying to decide between the Q and the SSA Icon to go into a sealed enclosure for the past week. D@mn tough choice!

Looks good. I wasn't a fan of my Q in a low tuned box, shoulda tried it higher like yours.
