Ok i acquired a pioneer deh-p6700mp tonight for free. I noticed on the back of it that it has a 3.5mm jack(atleast it looks like one) Its not labeled or anything. I can plug my mp3 player into it and making sure aux is turned on i dont hear anything. now if i turn the vol. up wide open on the H/U and the MP3 player i can just barely hear it. Do i need something else?

that 3.5 jack is for wired remote control to intergrate steering whell button functionality

yeah or radioshack there 4 bucks

make sure its l+r channel Not mono for more accurate sound reproduction

ebay for cbr-10 best bet probally

ill get it through my supplier tomorrow. not gonna spend a whole lot in it cuz im saving for an 800prs ATM. I had an old eclipse cd3402 that has only bass and treble adjustments and i was just plain tired of it so i swapped it for this pioneer out of a jeep the shop bought today.

i like it, has everything but time alignment.
