My system right now is a SAE-1200D with my sub wired down to 1ohm so its putting out around 1200-1500wrms, I also have an eclipse 4 channel doing 60x4.
I've done the big 3 with 1/0, I have a stock battery up front and a C&D ups12-310fr in the back.
I had a alpine type x before that was wired to 2ohm so i was only pushing about 800wrms max and even then, if I cranked my system I would get voltage drops in the 12.x range.
Now that I have the amp pulling in more power I need to upgrade my alt so i figured that this would be a good pick.

This system is just for daily driving, I'm never going to do comps so besides electrical work, I'm not going to replace/upgrade anything unless it craps out on me, that's why I really dont want to blow 300 dollars on a 200+amp alternator.
My car now has a 70amp alternator so I figured that this would be a big step up anyway.
so.......................should i buy it?
