Go with the SW40 round, whatever gun you chose. Not much larger than a 9mm, so your clip holds almost as many rounds, but the 40 has the knock-down power of a .357 magnum. Far superior to a 9mm. There's a reason the market has been flooded with 9mm's... everyone wants a SW40 these days, for good reason.

What? A story about a guy taking .40 rounds in the chest and still standing? What is your point, that a 9mm with LESS knockdown power would have done better? Im sure the officer would have rather been firing a .44magnum at that point, but we dont nd cant expect officers to carry massive caliber weapons around with them.
