Guess who got a new car...

that would look sick with some big *** 10.5in tires on the back.
and thats the biggest burnout you can do in that car? shit, i can do better in my 4cyl mustang. BUT ATLEAST YOU LAID POSI.

Im gonna see what I can afford for next set of tires.

If you saw the length....literally,bout 50ft. Oh and thats all I could do because cars were coming, thats why.

i dont know if you know this about turbos or if its been gone over, but after you drive it for a while, or drive it hard. let the car idle for a few minutes to let the turbo cool down, or you can buya turbo timer and it does it automatically.

Yea, I do that. Dont worry. Thanks though. Depending on how hard I ran it, I let it idle for a while, and sometimes open the hood up.

Im having problems though, my car will randomly die, like today, the 3rd time. And I dont know why. I think it could be fuel, the car has a rough idle as it is, and I ran the turbo pretty good, and I was just letting it idle along, and it died.

My jeep did the samething. Turned out my O2 sensor was a dud. Got it replaced. CPU reset. Runs fine now. Or does your car even have one? Like I said in that other thread. I'm not a genuis.

Im not sure.I posted it on the Buick forums, and hopefully we'll see what happens. Burntout )2 sensors usually show check engine light. I think it might be a fuel system prob. Thanks for suggestion. Hopefully it wont be expensive.

That sir is the reason why the dude sold you it. He knew there were problems and he sold it to you. Just like the dude sold me my crx... he knew what the problem was but yet failed to tell me. So now im in the process of trying to get my money back. Will your GN pass smog? Also you might want to check the motor mounts... those could be bad too. There could be a number of things making it want to die when as idile.

if your o2 sensor was burnt out your check engine light would be on..ive never heard of a car shutting off cause of an 02 sensor malfunction, my o2 sensor is burnt out and my car doesnt just shut off. i say its your tps because it might be reading that no air is going in the engine which sends a signal to the computer to send less fuel causing it to shut off...when you are at idle do your rpms kind of go up and down a little bit?

My O2 went out. No light came on:confused:

My truck went through this stage of just dying out for no apparent reason. All of a sudden it just started doing it, then all of a sudden it stopped. No idea why. The only way i could keep it running was to keep the RPMs above 1000.

I say put some fuel system cleaner in your car and check the fuel filter, along with the 02 sensor, throttle sensor, etc.

If you met the guy I bought it off, you wouldnt think that. He still calls me and this car, was his life. It passed smog, he got it done for me. I still talk to him,and in fact he called me yesterday cuz he wants to meet up.

TPS..maybe.. I just tweaked that the other day, so Im not sure. It read .48 but its supposed to be .40-.44
