Grounding terminal?

k...so dont buy this thing then..ok...

sure buy it, or use a ring terminal, or use a 1/0 run.

but whatever you decide to do, at the VERY least you need to sand your connection point to bare metal. no ifs, ands, or buts.

you can buy it if you just want some brass thing that looks neat so you can point it out to people who probably wont care but in the end, sand the place where your going to install it.

but you dont need it, think of it as a middle man i guess. its just there...

Drill a hole in frame, wire brush all the grime off of the area the terminal will be touching, insert bolt w/locking washer, place 1/0 terminal over the other side of the bolt, place another locking washer and a nut on the other side and you're good to go. Simple enough? Don't screw it to sheet metal (body ground)... frame is better. Do the Big 3 as well.
