grounding help:

i just got my alpine 9830 from crutchfield, with the wiring harness and everything but i ran into a problem, on the harness it has a wire 4 grounding, i looked and so does my car but the harness 4 the alpine has a ring and it tells me to ground it with that, but i have no clue where the hell 2 ground it, in the little area i can see, the only metal i see, im not sure if it would ground it or not, can i use the ground wire from the wiring harness 2 ground.... or do i gotta find a place on the car myself, if so ill need major help.

put the wire on the frame of the car. You can add wire to that one from the harness to get it to a good place. Make sure to sand the area down so you have a clean and secure connection.
