grounding amp..

is the seat touching the frame of the car?
its the seat is held down by the hook type things that hook around a rod. and the rod is painted the body color. i tried finding a pic but cant find one online...and its already dark so it would be hard to take a pic

editted for pic added...mine is basically thee same thing.

well i dont want to drill into anything...since this isny my van. im jsut using it temporarily. what other bolts could i use or is there none?
Any bolt accessible that bolts to the body, just make sure you grind away a small area on the body for contact with bare metal.

If you have a wire wheel grinder, clean off the bolt too.

Those seats wont work because they arent bolted to the floor, they slip on with clips that kinda look like laws scissors.

Try and lift up some of the carpeting in the back and find some bare metal, grind the paint off using a file or scraper (if you dont have one use an old drill bit and grind the paint off) and then just simply bolt or screw in a ground. As long as it is all metal touching all metal you will have a decent ground.
