Ive recently added a second batter in the trunk. With running a single amp i already had it grounded to the car, ive orded a new amp for the highs and was just wondering weather i should ground it to the car or just run it off the negative terminal from the second battery?

Thank you for taking time to respond.

Some ground to battery with high power or competition setups but others say it makes so little difference when metered it's not worth the added expense. If your second battery is close to the amp you could wire it either way with same results.
