Ground?

I recently installed my 212's and my 8000 Watt soundstream one channel amp into my car. When I am playing music loud and bassin hard my temperature gauge starts going way up and when I turn the music down the temperature gauge goes down.. is this a ground problem or is my app ******* too much power from the engine?

That amp does 1800 watts rms at 1 ohm. Should have at least a good AGM and big 3 done. What is your voltage dropping to? Is this a GM vehicle?

I'm not sure on what my voltage drops to. So it's probably that it's ******* too much power not that my ground is messed up?
