ground?

I need help finding a good spot to put the ground wire from the amp in a 97 cavalier. if you guys could help me with a location that would be real nice!

anywhere theres bear metal by the amp. Grind off the paint and run a bolt with washers on both sides through, of buy a ground lug.

run a wire straight to your battery negative. best ground possible

provided its not like ome of the really old VW's were the body had a positive charge, yes. Straight to the batt is the best, but like a shock tower bolt is a pretty good ground.

yes since your car has a common ground on the frame/body so essentially any metal on the car as long as it is connected to the body
