Ground Wire Problem

I having a problem with my amp when i turn it on, the speakers have a loud poppin nosie. I have tried every thing i have all new wires (4GA). I think it could be my ground wire in my radio or my ground wire on my battery. HELP

or make sure your current one truly is a good ground...measure it with a DMM to be sure.

I get a slight popping sound with my usx4065 amp, but not with my cl400 amp, which are grounded at the same spot/with the same screw; I think it's just a normal turn-on pop or whatever.
