Ground Wire Help

I brought an amp and im having trouble putting the ground wire in. I have a 1988 volvo and i ground the wire but the light on the amp is still red.

if you were having a ground problem, the light on the amp wouldn't be lit.

You have another problem. Ohm load, under voltage, over current, physical damage, etc...

i'm not sure i see the problem. you ground the amp and it turns on. do you mean the protection light is coming on? what kind of amp is it and what are you powering with it? as mentioned before it could be going into protection due to an ohm question

He has a HU. Disconnect all the speakers, and try again.
