I've blown my second TXi1508D in two months. Everything is hooked up properly, though, and I can't find a single thing wrong with it - except for one possibility. Both of my amps are hooked to a distribution block for power and to another for ground. I haven't heard any engine whine in my subs, but I hear it in my speakers in the car. I've tried almost everything I could think of to fix this issue, but never got the whine to go away. The only thing I haven't tried yet is to run a dedicated ground wire back to the battery.
My question is this:
If I do have a crappy ground connection, could this be the cause of my amplifier blowing? If so, why hasn't it blown the 4-channel amp?
Thanks in advance.
