Ground Loop Isolators?

you have a poor ground at either your amps or headunit. be sure to sand them down really good.
I thought that to, but its bare metal and I even took two wires, hooked them both to the headunit ground and grounded them both in separate locations and its still giving me feedback..

I just have been getting pissed because everythings in my truck and I just want to get everything running good before I hook my other amps and subs up.

Do you have a pioneer headunit?
Big F'n +1

I ended up running a ground from my front batt. to my avic N-1 chassis then from the chassis to the RCA and EVEN after that, it still wasn't as clean sounding as my 98 Clarion Pro Audio H/U that it replaced.

Yeah, I had to do RCA to chassis ground as well to get rid of similar problems. Supposedly there is some pico fuse that the pioneers blow quite often, which causes the bad grounds on the rca's.

I made a thread regaurding a similar issue. U might want to consider checking it out its somewhere on th frist page. Some people gave me tips on what to look for and from the looks of it since i have a pioneer head unit the pico fuse burned out
