Ground Location for Sundown SAZ 2500d

As you mentioned, you have a unibody car. That means you do not have a solid frame to ground to. You should run your negative from battery in trunk directly to battery under the hood.

Hey guys, I just did a re-ground on my SAZ 2500d in the trunk by drilling in the frame and the dimming has almost disappeared. Since it still dims a little if I turn it up all the way will I need another battery or is this normal? Voltage drops down to low 13s but quickly goes up to 14.4v. Tell me what you guys think

Yes its unibody bu there are sufficient ground points in the rear suspension of this car ...no need to run a negative run all the way to the battery ...i have a 08 impala and all my rear grounds test perfect with dmm
^^

this. so many people here want to waste money and effort on so many **** runs, especially negative.

op, pick up a batt for the rear.

and ground it to the same location

I have an XS Power D3400 up front that has been used for about a year. I heard you cannot use old and new batteries together without an isolator. Will I still be ok if I don't use one and wire a XS D3100 in the back?
