Ground head unit to CHASSIS OR TO WIRE HARNESS

What is better to ground the head unit for an install...I've done quite a few and usually use the harness itself. What is optimal?

I use a chassis ground. You could always to both.

whichever makes less noise. lol.

but i always use a chassis ground on the HU, especially if it's a higher preout volt HU.

this. x2, Ive did a number of both. its all depends on the car. some have noise when you cassis ground it, and no noise on harness ground and others are opposite.
