Ground and Fused Distro Blocks?

What is the difference between the two? I will be running 1/0 gauge wire from the battery to a distro block and splitting it into two 4 gauge wires. I can't find a distro block for this. I need a little help, please. Thanks

ground distro blocks do NOT have fuses and SHOULD NEVER be used on a + source ... only for the ground, hence the name "GROUND" distrobution block. this will let you combine the ground wires from two amps and hook it to a common point. these usually screw into the grounding point of your vehicle.

FUSED distrobution blocks are just that, they have two or more fused paths that break a large guage wire into smaller guage for more than one amplifier, so you dont have to run two seperate battery wires in your car, just a thicker single one - wich is much eaiser IMO. they also have the fuses to protect the two wires that split from the main line from over-powering. wich is a MUST in any amplifier install, or any + wire in your vehicle.

Thanks for the quick response!! Ok, so I don't want or need a ground distro block. Where can I get a good distro block with 1 1/0 ga. input and 2 4 ga. outputs? Also should it be for ANL or AGU fuses because I can't find any AGU fuses bigger than 80 amps Could I use an 80 amp fuse for 4 ga. wire or should I use a 125 amp ANL fuse?

the max agu fuse you will find is 80A. anything above that will require an anl fuse. also, you have to choose your fuse according to your wire gauge and length.

i dont know what you are talking about. but use anl fuses, or a circut breaker.
