Ground and Amp Powering issues

Hey guys. So I had a Lanzar vibe432 amp that stopped working after 8 months so I purchased a new one and hooked it up and its still not working. I take it to get checked and the dude says the old one blew and the new one is faulty or I must have ruined it when connecting it. Next day I try again and it turns on power but no audio output so I use an Aux-RCA cable to connect directly to my phone to see if something was wrong with the cables. When I played music the subs went on for a split second then the amp shut off.

I used a voltmeter (its all I got) to check the power on the ground wire and positive wire and they dont give me any signal when the car is on. When i turned the car off i got voltage (12v DC+) on the meter from the positive wire to the nut/bolt where the ground wire is connected. I took the positive wire and lightly touched the bolt the ground wire is connected to and it made a spark then the whole ground wire started working but still only shows voltage when the car is off.

The amp still doesn't turn back on so I'm confused ...any ideas whats going on?? thanks.. I'm a beginner to all this and I rather know myself before taking it to someone to fix. Any help is appreciated

The amp is junk man. Invest in a better one. There are plenty out there to choose from. Do you have a budget to work with?

Yea I got this one for around 150 but willing to spend another 100 ...small budget but I'm sure there's something out there that works better and is more durabl. I just need it for the subs I have two Jbl gto1214D they're 350w rms -1400w each..what would you suggest?

You need a monoblock if it's running subs. Go to sonicellectronix.com and look at a ba2600.1. They are around 140.00. That will leave you extra to get good power wire....4 gauge. Go to KnuKoncept for the wire. Set the gain right and run the subs at 1 ohm. You'll see a major difference. Are they in a ported or sealed enclosure?

here's the specs on your amp

New Lanzar VIBE432 Car Audio Vibe 4000 Watts Amp 4 Channel Mosfet Amplifier Amp

SKU: VIBE432

4 X 500 Watts Rms @ 4 Ohms

4 X 1000 Watts Max @ 4 Ohms

2 X 2000 Watts Max @ 4 Ohms Bridged

4 X 850 Watts @ 2 Ohms Rms

even Best Buy doesn't screw their customers that bad.

yup with that lanzar, you take away a zero, then divide by 2 and thats the actual power you get from it. Yes i'm serious if you think your subs actually bump with that lanzar amp, you'll be blown away by the audiotechnix amp with real watts going to your subs.

Okay so I returned the faulty amp and they gave me store credit to purchase an amp from them. Here are some Monoblock amps they got a few :

Autotek m4000.1d and MM4050.1

Hifonics BRX1200.1d and BRX2000.1

Massive Audio D 2400

And a few more brands I couldn't get down like planet audio which I am going to avoid since that was the second amp I had... What would you recommend???

out of the 3, the brx 1200

not gonna get much better then the audiotechnix amp tc300 posted. 600 quality watts for 105$ is hard to beat. Its worlds apart from any other amp in that price range.
i bought a pair of the AT 1200's when they were $200.. liked it so much i bought 4 of those AT 400's got a pair of those strapped to my icon 15 and they get it moving pretty good!! that is the BEST bang for buck/budget amp!!
