Great comps for $200-300?

so what do you think i should cross my w7 at?

Depends on if you stick with your current frontstage or upgrade, as is I would cross @ 60-80hz. Around there...

i like running the sub xover a little high. so i was thinking 100. but again, i am concerned with duarbility.

If you are concerned with durability cross much lower than that... 100hz is going to be directional bud.

Here I assume you are talking about the durabilty on the sub...

There aren't really any comp sets out that can deal with the daily midrange and deal out the substantal midbass to keep up with a "supersub". If you want it all you need a dedicated midbass...

Anyways, there is NO WAY IN HELL that the W7 will like being crossed as high as 100hz, I HIGHLY recommend you cross no higher than 80hz... Even that is asking too much of it. Good luck whatever you choose...

oooh jeez. i guess ill do 80. im just going off what i used to cross my thunder 8000s at. they love being crossed high.

you can get memphis mcsq's for abot 250 on ebay they a pretty forgiving as far as where and what you put the 6.5" in and come with a silk tweet.

its there very well its warm.. i wouldnt say its a xxx type mid bass hump but its smooth. even mounted to a flat board its pretty amazing.
