What gear you should be at to go through the turn....or..... at least thats what i used them for, and it worked..

i cant race in an auto... i never can tell how fast im going, i judge every corner by my gear.

the r2 button controls your shifting if your using an auto...

You gotta use manual...otherwise the game is boring....but yeah, today im gonna keep working on my super liscense....pretty fuc Kin difficult, way to go inhuman acura

have you ever driven/rode in an automatic that didnt have the availability to be shifted? I know everyone I have has

the r2 button doesnt "shift" gears...say your coming up to a turn and your at high rpm, rather than shift in to the next gear and drop the rpm's for that split second you can hold the r2 button down and it'll stay in that gear.

i see what youre saying now.

regaurdless though, still doesnt tell me what gear i am in, what gear i am coming from, and give me the speed indication that a manual does... could just be me though.

it all depends on the turn man, but for hair pins, i go at 2nd gear. Are you not man enough to drive manual!? Manual is pretty **** easy especially on a controller.

and by the way i just go myself a new toy, a 808 HP Skyline GT-R V-Spec ahahaha. I ran the vega drag strip and got 9.2 seconds ahahahaha.

Well I was at ebgames today and seen it has been out, I was about to buy it but didnt really know. I just got my ps2 and have been workn on gt3 and its ok but nothing that I would really write home about. So thats what I wasnt sure about buying the 4th, but I might just go to walmart now and grab it. Also anyone play the game kessin I think it was that looked pretty good but I play age of empires on line and I like games like that but not the rpg games. I have been playing srs now and I am really liking that game, you guys get into that?

i did and this thing turns. I think so far this is the best car for the motegi courses. The car slows down fast so your able to take those corners late! w00t, this is my favorite car so far.

well I brought up srs in this thread because its a racing game, and gt4 is as well, and was wondering how they compair to each other. I dont know about u, but when I go spend $60 on a game and then get it and it *****. I am not to happy about it.
