I say, the bigger man is more admirable, but stealing is not something that deserves no punishment. Any mature person will laugh at those who call another names, but when something is stolen, justice needs to be saught. It sucks the cops won't do anything, and while I am not a man of violence, I think the accidental broken nose while playing basketball is justifiable. Just don't tell anyone you know it was him, that way, when/if the cops become involved, there is no motive (unless he says he stole it, and that's why you hit him) and pure accident is the only reason.

yeah, I learned that the hard way, I got into some trouble with the campus cops about a fight I got into over a dispute between my fraternity and another....The questioning an all that bullshit took up two weeks....big mistake calling the campus cop a renta cop
