I have been argueing with my stepdad about sport bikes. I think the Ducati 1098R is the best all around bike available for no budget applications and he thinks the RC51 is better, i also think if anything Agusta and Aprillia would be the only things touching ducati.

Ducati is untouched and always has been they may not have the most top end but coming out of turns there amazing

Care to elaborate, i have discovered a flaw in part of the arguement but i am still right, the RC51 and 1098 never raced against eachother, the RC51 only saw the 999 i believe. The ducati is a little more than 100 pounds lighter, is only 5 hp short and it has 98 ft lbs of torque making it the best power to weight ratio of any sportbike period. And it has a 0-60 in 2.5 seconds.

So do most sportbikes. The 1098 isn't the fastest bike around if that's what you're arguing
