Got the Oldskool and Threw some D's on it....

Eh....not a big fan of the 4-door. Had that been a nice late 70's 2 door caprice, or a malibu, it woulda looked better. Still, the rims look good on the car, go with what ya got!

I thought anything 50 series and under was considered 'low pro' i remember getting my 15x7 on my geo tracker (was baller like that) size was 195/50r15 and they were considered 'low pro' back then when everyone was rocking 15's and there was no such think as 18's yet.
dood some chico that goes to my school has a geo tracker wit lil tires and hydrollics and instead of being like normal people and parking in the morning, he drives around cuz hes "COOL":laugh://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif:laugh://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

those aint D's fool. D's have thicker stainless spokes, they also have serial numbers on the knockoff that correspond with the inner wheel, the bead on the inner wheen is much better, and the plating is triple dipped.

you have knockoff, knockoffs...=cheap wires. i was rolling 20" daytons on a luxury sport '87cutlass in 2000. when 20" D's were $3K+. these cheap wires new with tires are $800

Tell him he fails.

I would assume that since my tires are Z-Rated tires (149mph+), whereas my factory tires are H-Rated (good up to 139mph), that they are Z-Rated tires for 17 inch rims. DE de dee. Its not rocket science
true. but mine are x-rated. can't look at em' if your not 18 unless you have an adult with u...

"low pro" is just a term thrown around. Do you know how to read tires? A 40 series is just an aspect ratio, the side wall is 40% tall as the tire is wide. a 205/40 is gonna have a really short sidewall compared to a 295/40. The first # is the tire width as in 205mm wide. Low pro just means short side wall and does not mean a particular series tire. You could have a 35 series tire that is taller than a 45 series. But those tires do look like truck tires, probably he got them form someone who had a SUV.
Yessir.

Nice buick. My advice is to take your time with it. Don't rush and throw a bunch of bull**** on and in your car. Be patient and save your money and hook it up right. The only person that has to like your car and the things you so to it is you. So take pride in your car and build it up nicely
